A primitive-style sour beer, brewed completely with NYS grown ingredients. Golden colored with intense notes of straw and funk.

On tap at Peekskill.
Slightly cloudy, golden-yellow color, with a small cap of white head; moderate retention and lacing. In the nose, light hints of grassy must, candied fruits. I'm not really sure what they were shooting for in this beer, nor am I sure the label of "saison" is correct for this, but I got flavors of cider and cherry Sweet Tarts, light pale malt sweetness in the background, with a grassy / earthy finish. Pretty interesting, actually. Light body, prickly mouthfeel, even with the lower carbonation. Good overall.
