A rustic farmhouse ale brewed with five grains, then blended with a small amount of aged beer from a variety of barrels.

FarmHands, eh? Hmm. Didn't I read about that name in the news recently? Someone else local....nevermind.
Served in a 12oz. flared pils glass, a clear, golden liquid, with a small white head that receded to a ringlet; spotty lacing, moderate carbonation rising from the bottom. Light aroma of toasted grains, pils malt, grape skins. I didn't really get any barrel notes from this beer, and I'm not sure what kind of barrels were used, or if they were multi-use or not. There was a slight hint of white wine in the aroma and taste. Otherwise, the taste was pretty clean and crisp, grape and peach fruitiness, lightly toasted grains with a hint of honey; as it warmed, some dry (almost stale) grassiness came out. The flavor wasn't very full, but there was really nothing offensive about it. Light body, light clean mouthfeel, extremely easy drinkability. I'd like to revisit this one.
