Poured from a growler into a standard pint glass: color is amber, but dense and opaque, head is 1/4 inch at first pour then dissipates to a ring and light froth.
Smell is light ester, clove from the hefe yeast and some feint sweeter malt, hard to distinguish rye from barley.
Taste is similar to the aroma a fair amount of the hefe yeast in clove form, light ester, then leads to sweeter malts, hard to pinpoint rye from barley.
Mouthfeel is fairly neutral, mild carbonation and no lingering off presence from the flavors.
Overall a good beer, not quite the same as fresh off the tap than from a growler, but nice qualities and easy drinkability

At the source served in a pint glass.
3.5 A: Dark brown color. Came without a head.
3.75 S: Earthy spicy rye. The use of Weisen yeast delivers a potent bubblegum and banana component. Wonderful spice throughout as the rye meshes so well with the yeast strain.
3.75 T: Like the nose there's the slickness from the rye and the spicy banana, clove, and bubblegum yeast. Light nondescript fruitiness, clean overall, with a grainy maltiness.
3.75 M: Medium body. Good moderate carbonation. Light creaminess with a touch of bite and plenty smooth.
3.75 D: Solid beer. Love the seized yeast flavors with the rye slickness.
