Pours a cloudy orange/copper color. 1/4 inch head of an off-white color. Decent retention and poor lacing. Smells of coriander, clove, slight yeast, hint of sweet malt, and a hint of hop. Fits the style of a Saison / Farmhouse Ale. Mouth feel is smooth and clean, with an average carbonation level. Tastes of sweet malt, yeast, slight clove, slight coriander, and a hint of hop. Overall, weak appearance, body and aroma are a little odd, but great feel.

Poured out a hazy, orange/gold color with a small head of foam. It smelled peppery and spicy with some fruity characteristics. It tasted somewhat spicy with a peppery kick. There was a sweet caramel malt taste with some fruity flavors, too. It was crisp and sharp.

Appearance: Dark golden-orange with a large frothy head.
Smell: Slight coriander and citrus, with a sweet bready malt smell
Taste: Surprised in a good way. The same spices as the nose meet the tongue, classic belgian spicing regime. Spicing gives way to surprisingly complex flavors of slight raisin and dark fruit intonation, blending into pear and sweet malt flavors, then finishing with a pleasant dryness. Nice.
Mouthfeel: pleasantly carbonated a la DuPont. Fits the style beautifully, fizzes on the tongue and leaves me wanting more.
Overall: for 1.50 a bottle, can't be beat!
