I nicked this out of my Old Man's fridge on New Year's Eve 2025 (or is it 2026? I never know...) and drank it a few months later in February 2026.
L: Hazy, light yellow, with a thin, bright white head. Particles of what I assume is lemon pith are suspended in the liquid, and a few bubbles shot rapidly up the glass.
S: The nose is very lemony, but it's an artificial soda/dishwashing liquid type of aroma.
T: Similar ot the nose, it's very lemony, and while perhaps a touch less artificial, it's been dialled up to ten, and that gives it an artificial overtone to me, even if it is actual lemon juice in the beer. It's in fact so overdone that it more resembles a hoppy soft drink than any beer I would expect to drink. There's a lack of bitterness in the taste profile; this means that the sweet citrus notes take over and the beer becomes overly sweet (which is not something you would usually associate with lemon!). That last part, in particular, means I would not be going back for a second, no matter the heat of the day or my hydration requirements.
M: The beer comes across as a little thin, and with low carbonation and no real bitterness, this means it comes across as watery on the palate.
O: Not a fan. If I wanted a dose of lemon-flavoured, non-bitter alcohol, then I suppose this is cheaper than a vodka pre-mix, and it would work in that situation, but I can't imagine ever choosing this over a beer-flavoured beer.
Cheers!

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
