On tap at Bitter Creek... Pours an slightly hazed orange amber with a definite red tint.
nose has some light caramel and toasted biscuit... cherry essence seems real and not artificial... but the cherry notes are on the light side.
Flavor is about the same.... fairly clean amber ale with no real noticeable hoppiness.... instead the cherries shine a little bit more than aroma.
Body is a lighter side of medium.... I wonder if they used sweet cherries... sweet cherries when fermented out can leave a sorta cherry coughdrop element.... a little medicinal... I got a little bit of it... but it is still pretty nicely done.
