Pours a copper-tinted amber with a finger of off-white head; good retention and the plentiful lacing shows good longevity.
Aroma is caramel malts with hints of pumpkin pie spice and clove; subtle, and not very pronounced.
Taste follows suit with the aroma and is rather subdued; the malt is there (as is some spice and clove) and provides a decent enough foundation, but there is just too little pumpkin to build from, if any.
Mouthfeel has a nice medium body with solid mid-level carbonation; for the most part, it’s stable on the palate and holds up nicely; a bit of stickiness lingers after the finish, but ends on a cleaner note than expected; malty and pretty fresh.
This beer was built well enough; I just couldn’t find much of the flavor. The aroma was light, but things became really too watered down beyond the malt profile; not something I’d reach for again.
