Poured from a can into a pint glass
Appearance – The beer pours a lightly hazed golden-yellow color with a small head of white foam. The head fades rather fast leaving a light level of foamy lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma is strong of a lemonade smell mixed with aromas of bread and a bit of cracker malt.
Taste – The taste begins with a very sweet lemonade like flavor paired with a bit of the breadiness that was in the nose. Along with these comes a little bit of a lemon rind and seed, as well as a touch of herb. As the taste advances, the sweet takes on more and more candy lemon like flavor, all while it gets just a bit more sour, leaving one with a sweet and sour lemonade taste to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The body is light can crisp with a slightly more effervescent carbonation level.
Overall – A little bit too sweet for my tastebuds, but it does have a pretty nice lemonade flavor. Maybe good for a hot summer day round a pool.
