This blonde ale has changed quite a bit from the Alandale days - and all for the better, too.
Served in the standard shaker pint glass, with a white head floating on a clear straw/golden brew. The aroma has subtle malt to it, but the quaff has changed and comes as quite a surprise. Reminds me of an amber ale with a doughy malt dominating the taste string, followed by a hint of chocolate. All in a blonde ale.
Very tasty, another one to try and enjoy in the summer - maybe in the cool weather too.
