As a saison compared to even DuPont , this is nearly a perfect version of the style.Slightly thin mouthfeel, but considering the price point I couldn’t ask for more. Poured from a 12 oz can from a fresh Thanksgiving delivery ( no dating) to Beverage Barn , about 50 miles from the brewery. Great carbonation and aroma of orange peel , coriander and lemon. Nice bit of funk ( bret?) and a classic dry finish.... awesome

A: cloudy; deep gold; 1 finger ivory head that receded to a thin collar; very little lacing;
S: coriander is predominant; orange peel is in the background;
T: there is a mild sourness in the background from start to finish; coriander is most noticeable up front - fades, but is still present at the end; orange and lemon come in strongly at mid-palate - they also fade away toward the end; no bitterness at all;
M: medium bodied; highly carbonated; mildly dry finish;
O: I found the sourness to be an odd aspect to this beer;

Served from a tap into a 16 oz plastic conical cup at the Long Ireland Beer Company.
A: Pours a hazy, dark straw color with a less than one quarter inch white head rapidly disappear into a rim. Low retention and no lacing.
S: Spicy bouquet with aromas of citrus and cloves.
T: Citrus, green apple/pear and clove flavors predominate with floral and hay notes.
M: Medium bodied with solid carbonation. Tingles on the palate, but finishes crisply.
O: A flavorful and refreshing saison. Somewhat sweeter and more complex than others I have had. Would definitely try it again.

12 oz bottle, pours out a pretty typical look for a saison
yeasty and wheaty malts on the nose.
Coriander, more yeast and more wheat on the palate. Nicely done, decent complexity and interest generated here, nice summery brew...went well with some salad, cheese and bread on a summers day...Worth a try...I would buy another sixer...

Pours a hazy golden color, a few ticks darker than most saisons. The head is short and tight, quickly settles into a frothy ring.
The aroma is a combination of a spicy yeast and a tart yeast. The traditional saison yeast notes are there: clove, hay, and flowers but there is also a sharp lemon sourness. Quite a bright aroma.
The sourness is dominate in the flavor. Big lemon sourness and tart green apple. Then there is light clove, hay and other farmhouse funk. Subtle honey notes from the malt. Good palate cleanser type of brew.
Moderate feel on the palate with tingly carbonation. Lightly sweet and tart on the palate; great balance. Finishes fairly crisp and dry.
A nice combination type of saison. You get the traditional DuPont flavors as well as the tart/sour notes that are popular with kids these days. Not overly sour which is preferred for me.
