My first from White Birch. Very good. Pours a light reddish straw color. Quickly dissipating creamy white head. Sour smell, very much like a cider. Nice tart and sour cherry/apple tasting. Good level of carbonation.

22oz. bottle served in a tumbler. Bottled May 2015. Pours a burnt orange hue with a hazy clarity and a fizzy, half-inch, cream-colored head that dissipates towards the edges. Nose expresses citrus, sea salt and a suggestion of toasted malts. Taste - not a flanders red in any way shape or form. Closer to a Gose as suggested by another reviewer - tangerines, salt and citrus acid; finish is slightly bready. Mouthfeel is light and lively with a pleasant acidity. Overall, rating this one to taste and not to the ascribed style as this is definitely not a Flanders Red and I can't find a description on the brewery's website. That said, pleasant, tart and refreshing. Nice job with this one.

L: Pours reddish amber with a slight haze under a 1” tan foam cap that provides light lace.
S: Rich malt aromas, some sweetness and tart fruit.
T: Starts tart, lemony, minerally with some salt.
F: Medium body and carbonation. A little slickness on the palate.
O: The beer is listed as a Flanders Red but the minerally salt on the palate pushes it towards a fruity gose.

Bottle from the source.
Pours a fairly clear brown with red highlights and a smallish but long lasting tan head. Aromas of clove, light cherry and lemon with a touch of oxidation. The flavor is a bit tart with moderate lemon and sour cherry. Still a bit of yeasty esters like this one hasn't quite gone full on funk yet. Medium to light body with a moderate carbonation. Nice little funky tart brew.
