Can at share. Pale goldenpour, oily, slick body, small foamy head. Lots of grainy notes, corn. Sweetness in the taste, more corna nd adjuncts, but without the vegetal notes. Nice summer beer.

Pours crystal clear. Like crystalline. Amazing clarity
Strikes me as if this was a hoppy Pilsner.
I enjoyed this tremendously, at least for what it was.

16 ounce can into lager glass, canned on 9/10/2019. Pours fairly crystal clear pale golden yellow color with a 1-2 finger fairly dense and fluffy white head with fantastic retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lasts. Nice spotty foamy lacing clings on the glass, with a moderate amount of streaming carbonation. Fantastic appearance. Aromas of lemon, cracker, corn, white bread dough, lightly toasted biscuit, wood, peppercorn, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Mild fruity corn aromas, but not overwhelming. Damn nice aromas with great balance of pale malt/corn and light-moderate earthy hop notes with good strength. Taste of big lemon, cracker, corn, white bread dough, lightly toasted biscuit, wood, peppercorn, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Light-moderate herbal, floral, woody, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of lemon, cracker, corn, white bread dough, lightly toasted biscuit, wood, peppercorn, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Awesome robustness and balance of pale malt/corn and light-moderate earthy hop flavors; and awesome malt/bitterness balance, and no astringent flavors after the finish. Fairly crisp/clean finishing. Perfectly clean on lager flavors, with no fruity/yeasty notes. Light-moderate increasing dryness from lingering bitterness. Medium-plus carbonation and light-medium body; with a very smooth and moderately bready/grainy/sticky balanced mouthfeel that is great. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 5.4%. Overall this is an awesome Mexican pale lager. All around awesome robustness and balance of pale malt/corn and light-moderate earthy hop flavors; very smooth and fairly crisp/clean/refreshing to drink with the modestly bitter/drying finish. Not aggressive. Very flavorful and not watery for the ABV. Great clean pale malt/grains showcase, with great earthy hop presence/balance for the style. Not overdone on adjuncts. Minimal residual sweetness from crisp dryness. A really enjoyable offering, and outstanding style example as expected of the breweries.

Had to try a lager mikkeller along with fremont, course. Crisp and tasty. Needs a smidge more bite to it. Good and clean. Quite tasty. Want more. Tasty as can be.

a mexican lager with corn tortillas in it, a curious idea but the beer is familiar and delicious, im not sure this funny ingredient influences the beer a whole lot, but its an excellent brew, nice and crisp and dry, but fluffy and not that minimal for the style, maybe a little salt or something to it from the tortilla accentuating that, but its simple beer even still. neat that these two got together, its been too long since ive had anything new from mikkeller, not much distribution here in idaho it doesnt seem. this has a frothy feel, a light nuttiness to the simple malt base, a pinch of vienna malt perhaps too, and very fresh to me. the yeast isnt quite as fruity as some mexican lagers can be, but i still get a light lime hint and a dried floral element, its not neutral, but its mellow, and it marries up nicely with the malt here. i like the sudsy texture, the high carbonation, and the finishing dryness. even though the beer isnt as unique as i want it to be with mikkeller involved, the quality is as at a predictably high level given these two breweries, and its a beer i would drink regularly if they wanted to make it a permanent thing. awesome can art on it too, a fun one to drink amidst a ton of bigger beers, i likely grab some more of this for the fridge. can anyone taste the tortilla specifically though?

Not bad for a crisp lager - refreshing and light yet flavorful. No date on can. Pours a clearer golden color with lots of fluffy white head that quickly settled. No real lingering lacing. Smells of malt, grain, a little sweet corn and bread. Can’t detect any hops. Taste follows the nose, decent balance and good flavors. Not as sweet as other lagers, which is a very good thing. Smooth, mild mouthfeel, actually quite nice for the style.

16oz can served in a crystal pint glass, because who doesn't drink a Mexican lager in a fancy glass. After all, it's a fancy Mexican lager. Packaged 9/10/19. Given to me by a friend at work.

Pours clear light golden with a big initial head that fades quickly to a spotty constellation. Moderate carbonation. Smell is moderately grassy, lots of grain, some lager funk.

Taste is a little malt liquory. Grainy sweetness, surprisingly noticeable booze, just the faintest shadow of hops failing to balance it out.

Mouthfeel is medium and smooth. Overall...it's an OK beer. Needs a drier mouthfeel and a bit more of a bitter bite to make it feel crisp.
