Pours a dark straw color and has a medium to heavy mouthfeel. It has a slight sweetness over the hop flavor and finishes with a mild bite. It has a minimal head and overall is a good beer. Rated 11-17-2021

Type: 16-oz. can
Reviewed as: New England IPA
Glass: Firestone 16-oz. Spiegelau IPA glass
Price: $3.25
From: Trader Joe’s in La Mesa
Purchased: Sept. 14, 2021
Consumed: Sept. 23, 2021
Misc.: Canned on Aug. 16, 2021 at 9:46 p.m. PT
Rachel picked me up a can of this, which read online as “2-Row Pale, Rolled Oats, Flaked Wheat, and Vienna malts with Strata, Simcoe, El Dorado, Citra Cryo, Talus, and Ekuanot hops.” Had three of these prior to this one, giving v.9 (Sabro Cryo, Ekuanot and Amarillo) a 3.64 on March 8, 2019, v.25 (Citra, El Dorado and Nelson Sauvin) a 3.76 on Jan. 11, 2021 and v.30 (Enigma, Mosaic and Nelson Sauvin) a 4.05 on Jul 23, 2021).
Poured a medium golden hazy color with five fingers of rocky white head. Could see some bubbles coming up along the sides of the glass. Almost perfect spiderweb foamy lacing. Perfect retention. (Sight - 4.75)
Smelled a little bit of Strata, followed by Ekuanot and not much of the other mentioned hops in between. Also berry, weed, grapefruit rind, passion fruit, green vegetable, herbal, pine, floral and wet grass. A tad worse from the can. (Smell - 3.75)
Tasted followed the nose for the most part. Got Strata, dank weed, grapefruit rind, pine, berry, passion fruit, green vegetable, Ekuanot, melon, El Dorado, herbal, floral and wet grass. (Taste - 3.50)
Medium body. Creamy texture. Average carbonation. Long, dry finish. (Feel - 3.75)
Probably not as good as I wanted it to be, but very good overall. (Overall - 3.75)

Draft at Handlebar. Hazy straw pour with thin, patchy white head. Aroma and taste are light, zesty citrus. Tons of hops throughout. Hoppy AF whole still being fairly gentle.

16 oz. Can
PKG: 08/16/21
Poured into a Tree House glass a very nice cloudy pale yellow/orange color, pretty nice carbonation, with a very nice thick/creamy one-finger plus off-white head, which also leaves some pretty nice sticky lacing behind. The nose is hoppy, malty, with a pretty nice citrus complex (orange, tangerine, grapefruit, pineapple, mango, papaya, apricot, guava, stone fruit), pretty nice diesel like. The taste is very nice hoppy, malty, with a very nice citrus complex (orange, tangerine, grapefruit, pineapple, mango, papaya, apricot, guava, stone fruit), very nice diesel like. Medium body, ABV hidden very nicely, with a nice little dry/bitter finish. Overall, this is a very tasty beer. Orange Julius! Addictive! MilkShake!

PKGD 08/16/21 and consumed on 09/17/21! Fremont is my favorite west coast brewery so I had high expectations for their version of a NEIPA. And it certainly didn’t disappoint. This is without a doubt one of the best interpretations of a NEIPA on the west coast. Most are trash with what seem like fillers and additives to make it hazy. This beer is properly juicy yet bitter and luscious. The hop bill is pretty intense but it all works. Well done!

Poured from a 16 ounce can into a tulip glass.
Look- Medium gold, very hazy, medium size particulate sediment, average head retention, above average lacing.
Smell- Mango, guava, pineapple, clementine.
Taste- Clementine, extremely herbaceous, exceedingly pithy and earthy.
Feel- Medium body, moderate bitterness, average carbonation, extremely astringent, moderately dry finish.
Overall- The overwhelming astringent and pithy properties of this beer override most of the flavors picked up in the nose.

16oz can served in a Belgian chalice. Bought it at the brewery about a week ago. Can is dated 08/11/21.
Pours a very murky orange amber color with a medium head that collapses to a thinnish ring and a thin dusting across the surface. Carbonation is there -- fine, slow, and hard to see in the haze. Smell is very ripe tropical fruit, maybe some melon, maybe bubblegum.
Taste is hop resin, melon, bubblegum, more hop resin, tropical notes are there. Strong pithy bitterness.
Mouthfeel is rich but dry, that resinous chalkiness. This is a very nice beer.
