Aroma: Faint earthy and floral hop notes fade to a light green apple aroma. Crackery malt character as the beer warms.
Appearance: Nearly clear amber pour with golden highlights. Nearly white sudsy and persistent head that laces the glass. Effervescence is noted.
Flavor: A nice blend of bready malt character, earthy hop punch, and some apple and honey blossom. Balance is nearly even with a fun dance between the bready malt character and hop bitterness. Finish is dry and clean.
Mouthfeel: Medium bodied with medium-high carbonation. No heat, astringency, or creaminess noted.
Overall impression: A refreshing hoppy lager. Well crafted and I like it. Glad I was able to try it.

Slightly hazed gold with a disappearing head of white bubbles. Lightly grainy, some crackery wheat flavor, clean, bit of herbal hop flavor and bitterness, even some subtle fruit from the fermentation. Clean finish. Good for what it is, and certainly better than the other beers available in grocery/convenience stores around here.

Greetings from Tulsa. This is a 3.2abw beer so expectations of deep character are low. Pours out to a 1" white sudsy head that falls to a thin film and no lacing. Beautiful clear gold. Aroma is sweet grainy malt and grassy hops. Flavor is light and balanced with dry malt and balancing bitterness and low level of earthy and grassy noble hops. Mouthfeel is super light and watery. For a "QuikTrip" convenience store purchase this is pure ambrosia. Most low point (3.2 % Abw) offerings are crap.
Update: this is probably the same recipe as the Apolitical Pils they have on tap at the brewery now...

P: Not perfectly clear just a slight haze on this golden body with great bubbles.
S: A subtle tartness with apples, touch of citrus, grains, a small amount of bandaid smell and a hint of spice.
T/M: Effervescent and light bodied. Grains are very forward with wheat, apples, pears, salt, pale malts and a touch of very timid citrus hops. Smooth and clean semi dry finish that is very drinkable and refreshing.
O: Overall a great addition to the convenient store line up for us Oklahomans. I really appriciate having this in our local stores so I can grab someone on my way home and not have to settle for the typical Budweiser beer. Refreshing and clean this is a deffinate beer for those summer months. Will drink again soon.
