650 mL bottle poured into a taster.
Appearance - Deep orange. Small white head. Laces well.
Smell - Peppers and a soapy hop aroma. Malty.
Taste - Peppers much more prominent. Even less hops. Spicy and still soapy. Very malty. Some bitterness.
Mouthfeel - Boo to pepper beers. Spicy. Kinda bitter. Medium heavy.
Overall - Drinking this before finding out what it was and I would not have guessed an IPA. Very malty.

Bomber->St. Bernardus Chalice
Brewed/Bottled at Choc Brewing in Krebs, OK
Released June 25th 2013
A ~ Pours coppered-red w/ good lacing & translucent clarity. Looks like an IPA.
S ~ Pepper skins, Ripe Poblano, & Resinous, sappy hops. Peppers really jump out of the glass once it's warm. Really well rounded nose
T ~ When cold, this is all Westcoast hops w/ black pepper on the finish.
When it warms I get an awesome pepper bouquet that finishes only slightly spicy.
Nice caramel malt backbone.
M ~ Light heat on the back end. Nice & Hoppy. Slightly sweet. Very "green" pepper flavors.
D ~ Nice expression of an IPA w/ a great addition of Peppers.
The hops don't overpower the peppers/spice & the heat doesn't outshine the hops.
The first Mustang beer that I can actually say is hoppy, & is my favorite of the Saddlebag series thus far. The other darker beers didn't really do it for me.
Cheers to Mustang for brewing in OK finally.
