Clear red with a generous that disappates to a ring and cap of foam. There is a fair amount of lacing.
Smells strongly of fresh raspberries.
Tastes like a raspberry smoothie without the seeds.
Feels very sparkly and light.
Overall, very refreshing and tasty.
My mother-law says that a it's among the top ten beers that don't taste like beer.

Frederiksberg 4/10 2023. 40 cl from tap at Tap 21, H.C Ørstedsvej, Frb. C.
Pours opaque murky maroon with a red hue. Mid-sized off-white head. Stable. Settles as thin but unbroken layer of foam covering the surface of the beer. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet odor of forest berries with a more subdued tart scent of citrus and gooseberries. Cherries and raspberries. Fruity and slightly sugary.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, soft and weirdly fizzy texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a strong, fruity sweetness followed by a light tart sourness. Aftertaste is sweet fruit. Lingers for a while. Finish is semi-dry.
More fruit beer than Oud Bruin. But a nice fruit beer.

On tap at GD Bierhuis in Prague. I expected this to be more like a Lindemands but it’s not. Still, a tasty, fruity treat with solid flavor. A bit too much like juice but enjoyable.

375ml bottle.
L: Very dark walnut colour with some ruby edging when held to the light. One finger of creamy, tan coloured head leaves spotty lacing.
S: Raspberry!
T: Raspberry!
F: Medium/light body with very subtle carbonation, some slick mouthfeel and a finish that is almost dry.
O: A big mouthful of raspberry jam. If that’s your thing, this will appeal. It’s nicely refreshing, not overly sweet. Drunk cold, in the summer would be my preference but I can also see this as a dessert beer if drunk at cellar temperature.

look: no real head to speak of, just a scattering of off white bubbles, beer is a lightly hazy mahogany/ruby colour, fast flowing carbonation in the beer.
smell: raspberry all the way, fresh juicy raspberry, quite sweet, floral, herbal, caramel, brown bread, mostly raspberry though to be fair.
taste: i mean, it’s so sweet and fruit forward that you wouldn’t nearly be inclined to think it was an alcopop, so dominated by raspberry, there is a malt character to it however, brown bread, hint of biscuit, quite herbal, almost a squirt gun cola taste to it, weird one.
feel: light bodied, light carbonation, quite watery, sticky, refreshing though.
overall: i mean it’s alright, too sweet to drink to much of, definitely lacking in character, but not the worst by any means.

Pours a deep reddish brown, a bit like coca cola with an medium large head that dissolves slowly. Raspberry on the nose but not too strong or artificial. Taste also raspberry, not too sweet, not too bitter but didn't taste like beer. Overall a nice beer that feels more like a natural fruit juice.

L- Very deep red-chestnut. Pours clear with 5mm fine white head, slowly receding.
S- Distinct/clear raspberry, and I find it hard to divine anything beyond that.
T- Very fruity, to the point of being like an intensely fruity alco-pop. This is like another kriek I had recently is so fruity it's hard to register a beer flavour.
F- Considering how fruity it is it's not OTT sweet/rich; rather, it's pretty well balanced. In fact coupled with very good CO2 in the mouth I'm realising that it's quite refreshing. That said I still reckon that this intensity of fruit in a beer would work better in summer i/o winter.
O- Interesting to try, though as above probably not the season for it to work well. There is too much fruit going on here, vs beer character, for me to wish to buy this again.

Notably very! heavy green glass bottle.
