The second No-Lo I've had from Kasteel in two weeks, Tropical clearly is sweeter than Rouge and I'm a bit surprised that they didn't let the market respond fully to Rouge 0 before introducing Tropical 0. It appears to me, they rushed it to market. While I like Van Honsebrouck as a fifth generation Belgian Family brewer, Tropical 0.0 does not enhance their Overall reputation with me.
Tropical 0.0 has a huge billowy head, but it mostly recedes to a thin film. Smells are a full-on tropical fruit medley. Tastes as pointed out start sweet, become too sweet and finish way too sweet. Although there is more flavour than most No-Los, you still gotta like sweet. Medium-mouthed among all-light beverages.
