Am what I'm drinking the result of a QC problem?
While I seem to agree with several reviewers about the Looks and Feel of PBC (I call PBC's average relative to the competition), I cannot agree with those that say this Smells and Tastes like a Peanut Butter Cup. To me, it's Coca-Cola with less sugar.
If this is not a Quality Control problem, then it's just me and I should shut up.
But I won't, I have to comment that Big Muddy's website is well below the standard of a 15 year old. Hence, BMB gets low Overall Hugs.

Great smell, great taste. However a bit thin for a stout. Not much effort out into the labeling. That being said it’s what I have been drinking as of late. Definitely worth a try.

This is a wild one. If blindfolded, I'd swear someone put a peanut butter cup under my nose. I could smell it as soon as I popped the cap off. It poured a deep brownish black hue with a fluffy tan head which hung around for awhile. Great so far. The taste, while good, is a bit of a drop off compared to the aroma. It does have a peanut butter cup vibe to it, along with some light roast and char. Mouthfeel is a little thin for a Stout. I liked that it wasn't sweet like I was fearing. Overall a very good rendition of a peanut butter cup, beer style.

Very dark brown color wirh some ruby highlights, decent but quickly receding tan head.
The aroma is peanut butter cups with some dark roasted malt and coffee background.
The taste is the same, very nice creamy peanut butter cups with a nice coffee stout, very mildly sweet, very nice balance, tasty.
The body is full, moderate carbonation, very smooth and very drinkable, a bit heavy for a session beer, but enjoyable none the less.
Altogether a very nice stout, no artificial taste, just pleasant peanut butter cup, good for after dinner or any cool day, just for fun.

12oz bottle. No dating information found.
Clear, brown colored body. Brief lasting, fizzy light tan head, results in a disappearing island and a ring. No lacing.
Aroma is strong with roasted malts, peanut butter, and a little chocolate.
Taste is initially cola sweet and then gets back to the slight bitterness of the roasted malts. Peanut flavor seems natural and in balance. Aftertaste is earthy.
Thinner mouth feel. Some tongue numbness experienced while drinking this beer. Okay carbonation.
Peanut flavor is okay, but the flavor profile is brief. Thin in the body. Little expression of carbonation. Overall lacking in depth.

Definitely smells the name. Little watery for my taste though. Strong PB flavor but it kinda finishes fake (chemical taste). Not terrible but definitely a one and done for me

6 reviews, this is rarer than I thought.
12 oz bottle, some sort of date code, I can't decipher it.
BIBCO Teku
Pours chocolate-y brown, forms a silky dark black body, with a creamy head of 1/2 finger, receding to a stable thin ring.
Aroma...well, I can't think of anything closer to an actual peanut butter cup than this. Smells the same from the glass as it does the bottle. No off-aromas. No earthiness. It's straight melted Reese's. A well-deserved 5.
The flavor is a hell of a base stout, very clean, easy drinking, with roasted malt and deep coffee, slight cream. The peanut butter comes afterwards, in a lovely nutty, semi-sweet fashion. Then it drops off a bit in favor of roasted malt. That's okay, it buoys. A little Reese’s Pieces on the finish. Sweet but not over the top. It’s no pastry stout, and for that I am thankful. Great balance of coffee, peanut butter, and roasted malt.
Feel is slick and oily with a good dose of roasty dryness. A clean finish. Medium bodied, a little on the thin side. Minimal warmth.
Overall, simply stunning. As a session stout it doesn't get much better than this on the peanut butter end of things. I could drink three in a row easily and be satisfied for the night. An underrated champion of a style variant that gets murdered often.

Pours dark brown, with red hues when you put it to the light. Has a big tan head. Smell is of smelling a jiff jar. Taste is watered down peanut butter. Mouthfeel is light for a stout. Overall, smell and look is nice, but, could be better with taste.

Really great concept of a milk stout with a strong chocolate background, coupled with a strong peanut flavor. Really nice balance between the two, with the peanut side stronger. Smooth mouthfeel - a little on the flatter side but not badly so. Nose is all peanuts with a hint of chocolate. Overall, a really well made beer that is markedly different from many others.

On tap. Poured out an opaque, jet-black color with a small, khaki-colored head of foam. It smelled strongly of peanut butter, some milk chocolate and caramel. Peanut heavy beer with subtle chocolate notes.
