473 ml can served cold into a tulip. LCBO purchase for around $3.25 CDN.
Appearance - Clear medium golden color capped with a finger of fairly quickly receding white head. No lacing to speak of and a goodly amount of bubbles within the beer.
Smell - General graininess and lots of ginger. A little lime. Not a whole lot else. Perhaps a bit sweeter aromatically than expected.
Taste - Light grainy flavor. Some restrained lime. Some ginger. No off flavors and slightly sweet background.
Mouthfeel - Light and bubbly. Easy drinking.
Overall - A solid lime lager that has good feel and is easy drinking. Refreshing if nothing else.

Basic beer with a dose of lime. Sweet up front, pretty good application of lime. Clear gold, short head that doesn't linger, no lace. Fruity nose, taste dominated by fruit, but beery enough not to be a soda. Easy drinking, decent summertime fare.

473 mL can from the LCBO; coded B18 1 (Feb 18 2021) and served barely chilled.
Pours bright and clear, its golden yellow-hued body capped off with more than a finger of puffy, foamy white head that seeps off within a minute or two. A spotty band of sea foam lacing is scattered about as it's reduced to a wide collar of frothy suds - it's a good lookin' lager. Lime-ade and Sprite on the nose, with hints of ginger spiciness, lemonade and berries - not especially "beer-y", but I do like all of the things I just listed, so I'm not inclined to complain.
A better than average light lime beer, with notes of lime peel and graininess comprising much of its flavour profile. Not a lot else beyond that - the ginger spiciness does come through a little bit at the tail end of the sip, but it's a marginal presence at best. Fading hints of lemon/lime peel and ginger into the aftertaste. Light in body, with assertive carbonation that feels prickly and crisp on the tongue - feels exactly the way I want from a ginger beer (even though the ginger presence here is kind of anemic). Its drinkability is through the roof, and easily its strongest attribute.
Final Grade: 3.62, a B grade. Taken for what it's supposed to be - a light lime lager, in the same vein as macros like Bud Light Lime or Miller Chill - Hop City's El Limero is a clearly superior option. That being said, if you're looking at this as a craft lager, there's room for improvement, as I would've preferred more of basically everything: more ginger would've been fantastic, and more pale malt flavour also would've been nice... though I suppose the "limey-ness" is close to spot-on by my tastes. It's something I'd return to if I were really in the mood for a thirst-quenching lime lager.

A nice gold colour, clear with a respectable head. The smell is all lime. The taste is lime mixed with light beer, which I really enjoy, especially on a warm day. I detect faint hints of ginger too. It’s hard to find a decent lime beer since Moosehead cancelled theirs, but this might be the replacement. I’m ok with that
