Picked up a 6-pk from Total Wine after seeing the label/packaging and being a sucker for anything retro and local/regional, decided to give it a try. 12 oz bottle poured into a Spiegelau glass.
L - Pours a clear, golden color with about a finger of soapy white head that dissipates quick and leaves a thin lacing.
S - Lemon, apple cider vinegar, tea leaves, slightly piney, slightly sour, little-to-no hops, very mild overall.
T - Follows the nose with citrus and iced tea up front, a bready biscuit malt in the middle, finishes slightly hoppy.
F - Light-to-medium bodied, moderate carbonation, fairly thin but very drinkable. Finishes slightly dry.
O - Drinks more like a pale ale or a strong lager, doesn't have much of the characteristics of an IPA (very little citrus, pine, tropical fruit, bitterness) and doesn't come across as "bold" but it is radical, in a way. Hop heads look elsewhere, but if it were classified as another style, it's an okay middle-of-the-road beer.

12 oz, bottle -
Pours clear golden with a white head that becomes a wide island. Some lacing sticks.
The smell is very mild for an IPA. Slightly floral - subtle touch of citrus.
The taste is - like the aroma - very mild. Some tea-like bitterness with the slightest touch of citrus. Hop dryness (more dry than bitter) in the finish.
It is smooth. A bit thin but holds together. Alcohol very well-covered.
On the thin side all-around for a "West Coast" IPA. Nothing "off" but forgettable. Nothing really stands out. It's decent, that's all.
On the up-side - For every purchase the brewery donates a portion to a cancer center.
