Light, crisp and clean. Refreshing. Don't fool yourself. This beer kicks ass. Brewed with pilsner malt, flaked corn & Noble hops.

Reviewed as: American Pale Lager
Glass: Clear shaker pint glass
Price: $2.25
From: Trader Joe’s in Milpitas (Santa Barbara), Calif.
Purchased: Dec. 24, 2019
Consumed: Dec. 25, 2019
Misc.: Apparently didn’t check for canned on date
Picked this up with a bunch of other stuff for my Christmas in Montecito. Was first time I saw this and decided to give it a try. Couldn’t really find any description on it.
Poured a medium yellow-to-gold clear color with 1-to-2 fingers of frothy off-white head. Could see a few bubbles coming up from the bottom of the glass. Below average foggy lacing. Below average retention. (Sight - 3.25)
Smelled hay, grass, Saaz, herbal and honey. A little better out of the can. (Smell - 3.75)
Taste wasn’t quite as good as the nose, but still good. Got hay, grass, Saaz, black pepper, herbal and light honey notes. (Taste - 3.75)
Medium body. Lively carbonation. Oily texture. Dry, abrupt finish. (Feel - 3.50)
Good overall. (Overall - 3.50)
