As a proud Central Coast brewery, many members of our brew team and beyond are Cal Poly alumni. That’s why we teamed up with our Mustang friends to make this smooth, crisp, crushable lager. It’s brewed with heart – plus green and gold pride.

Got this one from Chris after he said it was better than the AleSmith San Diego State Ale. Untappd description was “As a proud Central Coast brewery, many members of our brew team and beyond are Cal Poly alumni. That’s why we teamed up with our Mustang friends to make this smooth, crisp, crushable lager. It’s brewed with heart – plus green and gold pride.”
Poured a pale-to-medium yellow clear color with 1-to-2 fingers of frothy-to-fizzy off-white head. Could see some bubbles coming up from the bottom and sides of the glass at different speeds. Below average lacing. Below average retention. (Sight - 3.25)
Smelled pretty good. In order got pear, apple, kiwi, grass, corn and hints of honey. Smelled even better out of the can. (Smell - 4.00)
Taste wasn’t as good as the nose initially but grew on me each sip. Got Noble hops, pear, apple, kiwi, grass, corn, hay, sourdough bread and lingering black pepper. (Taste - 4.00)
Light body. Creamy texture. Average-to-lively carbonation. Clean, crisp finish. (Feel - 4.50)
Damn. This was nice. This is what happens when you work a great brewery that sticks to its original plan. (Overall - 4.00)

A wonderful beer for camping, fishing, softball, BBG's, the beach, or any other outdoor activity. Crisp, clean, and refreshing, it is what it is.......a crushable session lager.
