The Cuvée Miel is a special version of the Cuvée Armand & Gaston. This geuze is a blend of one-, two-, three- and four-year old lambikken that have been infused with honey on the coolship. While blending, we added some more local honey. The weighted average age of this blend upon bottling was more than 24 months. 100% 3 Fonteinen brewed lambik.

Excellent beer. Tart, funky, boozy. Plenty of lambic characteristics with a strong fruit flavor, wine barrel, and honey. Feel is where it’s outstanding. Pretty much what I want from the style.

absurd bottle of beer right here, i am loving these unique lambics they have been putting out. this has honey in the coolship and honey again in the blend, a mix of four different vintages of lambic coming together, a little stronger, a little more old lambic in the blend, super complex, and a treat to share a bottle with close friends, this stuff is spendy but worth it, as is pretty much always the case with these guys. blend number 67 here, richer colored brew, rusty orange and hazy after the first third of the bottle, fizzy and holding an almost nitro looking thick creamy head, some density and body evident, and aroma to remember. wildflower honey of the highest quality, a little bit raw and waxy, than floral pollen thing, in bloom, with some citrus nuance, light jasmine to me, and all kinds of old oak, white wine, and lambic funk, more equal parts bretty and acidic, definitely a mouthwatering nose, im salivating for this thing, real mature, some grain evident too, husky and hully, lightly baked, this is hearty and cozy and really honey forward, more and more so as it warms too. so much wood and honey on the first sip, its sourer than it smells and it takes me a second to let the pucker and the honey sweetness kind of equalize on my palate. the honey is way floral and even though the beer isnt sugary overall, the honey character defines it, even ahead of the classic lambic fermentation profile here, its so rich and springy and distinctive, i love it. i get some cedar wood, sauternes, and vanilla in the mix, this is layerd and opens up a lot with temperature, definite white wine and attendant acidity, quite sour on the whole, even a vinegar thing to it, fuller bodied with the raw wheat and the oak, lovely farmy funk on the back end, drying and musty and old worldy, good mineral profile, a little copper thing to it, hay and straw and grass, sour lemon, clover, white tea, and even dried apricot. overall wonderful, aided in its elegance by rushing carbonation, i adored this, and it will stay with me for a long time. worth seeking out, expert blend, dope use of the honey!

Dirty, copper-orange colored body, semi-cloudy; one-finger thick head, lasting, dense, bone-white. Smell comprised of brett funk and ripe citrus fruit; apple and tangerine; horse blanket. Tart and fruity flavors; lemon and green apple; semi-sweet white wine. Medium body; bubbly and somewhat coarse on the palate; tart and partially dry.
Generally a nice blend of lambic beers with a friendly mix of mild stone fruit sweetness, light sourness, and some earthy funk.
Pouring temperature: 47 °F; bottling info: n° 67 - 20|21 07/28/2021

A 750ml corked and caged bottle, blend°67, season 20/21, bottled on 28th July 2021. Poured into a 3 Fonteinen gueuze glass.
Appearance: A very nice clear dark golden orange colour, with a one finger white head that dissipated fairly quickly to a thin cap, while leaving lots of nice lacing.
Aroma: Funky, dusty, hay, stone fruit, peach, apricot, orange zest, green apple, with notes of honey.
Taste: Lightly tart, funky, barnyard, damp wood, hay, green apple, citrusy, orange zest, lemon, with light herbal, honey, and stone fruit notes.
Mouthfeel: Medium bodied with moderate to high carbonation.
Overall: Another interesting and enjoyable variant of Cuvée Armand & Gaston that drinks really easy and one that I could just drink again and again.

Cellared a year. Orangey murky pour with a white head and bands of lacing. Smell has the patented strong barnyard funk with honey, flowers, orange slices, lemon juice and bright oak. Sour version of nose with skin forward peach and a touch of vinegar added. Feel is lightly sour, slightly acidic, and funky yet smooth. The best use of honey in a gueuze I have ever had, this is a complex yet playful delight

Classic amber, almost red, with a moderately tall off-white foam head that settles to a persistently bubbly blanket with a softly fine cling of rolling hills.
This exhibits pretty classic OG characteristics: pungently spicy, dusty oak and a funky, even fairly acidic balsamic grapefruit reduction, but with a frothy body where the honey does not seem to fully present itself with defined clarity. It's actually a little more sharp than I'm used to from 3F.
The medium-light body has a fine carbonation that comes to a semi-dry yet biting finish.
