Taste is grape, slight oak, apple, hay, and grass. If I closed my eyes, I would think at times that I was drinking a good white wine. Refreshing and tasty. I will look for this again. Well done Bayou Teche.

A: beautiful light gold in the pour, with a large and robust white frothy head. Head retention is ridiculously long, with maximal lacing when it finally does begin to recede. Simply put, beautiful!
S: slight grape tartness, mixed with sweet malt. Slight astringency present.
T: acidic grape sourness, along with tart unripe peach and a bit of barnyard funk. Aftertaste leaves heavy residual sugar (unfortunately), so not sure about labeling this a saison. Minimal spiciness becomes more pronounced as it warms.
M: almost creamy, reminiscent of milk stouts I've had - could use a bit more carbonation and a bit less body.
O: certainly worth trying - just don't expect a 'saison.' Good for its uniqueness.

Poured into a taster glass.
A: Opaque golden. An off-white half finger head that dissipates fast. Light lacing.
S: Grapes, bananas, a nice Sauvignon Blanc wine vibe.
T: Very elegant and sophisticated. More like drinking a white wine, or in this case, Sauvignon Blanc. Fruity esters. A bit of farmhouse funk. Different.
M: Light to medium with medium, dry carbonation.
O: Glad I got to try this one, just not one of my faves.
