From two different tap sources (summer 2010):
This beer has been served in different incarnations (i.e. barrel aging). The first time I had it I believe I had a barrel aged version and the second time it was straight. I forget what Jim had told me about the different versions.
Pours dark with a minimal head. Very malty and the first time I had it the barrel came through quite boldly.
Medium mouthfeel and drinkable but not as drinkable as Jim's other beers.
