I had this on-tap in a pint glass at Special Brews in Lynnwood, WA.

Appearance: rich orange hue with a moderate haze and a light effervescence. Not much in the way of head, but beautiful otherwise.

Smell: light but enticing citrusy hop aroma with a lightly sweet malt underneath.

Taste: rather biscuity and toasty malt with a citrusy hop character. I'm usually not a fan of biscuity malt, but the hops turn this up a bit for me. Not at all bad.

Mouthfeel: medium body with an OK carbonation and a rocky refreshment. Not really creamy, but that's OK for this style.

Overall: tasty and drinkable enough, it's actually growing on me. Quite a refreshing beer, even if it does employ a rather biscuity malt which is not my favorite.

Served in straight pint glass. Poured a lightly hazy orange-amber color with less than a half-inch of white head that had moderate retention and very low lacing.

The aroma was good a nice mix of malt and hops, the malt had a nice grain profile and the subdued hops matched well. On the tongue, the hops had a bit of a tangier presence. The smooth, even malts provided a nice base for the gently sharp hops.

The body was fairly typical for the style, smooth, clean and dry. Drinkability was very good, my pint went down smooth and easy and I wanted more. Overall, a very nice take on the style. Worth your time if you see it.
