Ruby red orange brew with a very small amount of sediment, and two fingers of beige head.
Smells very light of pumpkin spice, and pumpkin.
Pumpkin spice, pumpkin, and a dry bitterness on the end.
Dry, slightly tannic body for a pumpkin ale, and little to moderate carbonation.
Got this in Stratford, ON, drinking it up in Muskoka, Nov 29th, 2017. Fair brew, very light on the spice and pumpkin flavour, but its present there still.

Can - puts a clear orange-amber ale in the glass, weak head does not last. Aroma of pumpkin spice, grassiness and boiled grains. Flavor is spicy, hoppy, dry with sufficient malt spine...I get an off taste in the finish, light hints of DMS which may vanish with some age. Overall this tastes like it was slapped together in a hurry to get it to market in time and the brew was not conditioned long enough

Nope. Anonymous sort of brew. Looks okay, but off smells. Not really pumkiny to taste, more oddly perfumey than anything else. Thin-bodied. It's just off across the board somehow, not enjoyable in any way.

Tallboy from the LCBO; dated Aug 26 2016 and served slightly chilled. Reviewed on my phone.
Pours an orange-amber colour, mostly clear, save for the visible flecks of sediment. It's topped off with one finger of frothy, off-white head that recedes over the following minute or two, leaving behind a thin collar, but little in the way of lace. Pumpkin puree, cinnamon, vanilla and allspice on the nose, with hints of red apples, brown sugar and graham crackers. Pretty approachable, but nothing out of the ordinary for this style.
Same thing goes for the taste; a little on the sweet side, but serviceable enough. Caramel and brown sugar, with prominent notes of vanilla and pie crust. Hints of apple, as well as cassia and gourdy pumpkin, with leafy, earthy hops rounding out the profile at the finish. Light in body, with low carbonation levels and a smooth, slick mouthfeel. Drinkability is pretty high.
Final Grade: 3.66, a B grade. Wild North Pumpkin Ale checks most of the boxes, but I'd be exaggerating if I said it was one of the best pumpkin beers in Ontario. The vanilla is a little overstated, while the footprint of the other spices is on the conservative side. Reminds me of Nightmare on Mill Street; decent enough to drink once a year or so, but not really one of my first choices in the category.

473 ml can served cold into a pint glass. Purchased for just over $3 CDN from the local LCBO. This beer appears to have been brought back for the fall 2016 season.
Appearance - clear and rich dark golden color with a half finger of off-white head. Not much head retention and carbonation appears to be lacking.
Smell - some spiced notes, cinnamon and possibly nutmeg are present. There's some pumpkin in the nose too although it's fairly subdued.
Taste- light and creamy spiced ale. The flavours are corn, caramel and a little bit of pumpkin, and generally sweet. The advertised vanilla also makes and experience. Not quite as much pumpkin as I'd like.
Mouthfeel - smooth and creamy, carbonation is quite light and body is somewhat thin.
Overall - there's nothing inherently wrong with this beer, but is more of a a creamy herb and spice beer than straight up pumpkin as the pumpkin just doesn't quite star as much as it should. Still a decent seasonal offering.
