At my lady Pamela's house; canned and chilled, 473mL in a pint glass. From Real Canadian Superstore on Walker Rd. in nearby Windsor. No date stamp or lot number. My 14th beer from the Baysville, Ontario brewery, and 5th for 2026. Adamantly loved by Sundae the cat...

473 mL can from the LCBO; the canning date looks like Mar 21 2020, but it's black ink on a dark background so maybe I'm wrong. Served slightly chilled.
Pours foggy and translucent, with a lemondrop yellow-coloured body supporting one finger of soapy, foamy white head. It falls apart within the next several minutes, splattering a messy coat of lace about in the meantime; a frothy collar is the eventual remnant, encircling a couple islets of film. Given this brew's very low abv, I was expecting the aroma to be watery but it's actually fairly fruity and pleasant - there's white grapefruit, lime, tangerine and a touch of tropical fruit, though the 'strawberry and blueberry' mentioned on the back label elude me.
The nose is a good prelude to the flavour, which consists primarily of grainy malts and diluted hints of lime, grapefruit and indeterminate tropical fruit; there's a touch of coconut, too. Hints of pithiness precede a watery, grainy finish followed by a mostly dry aftertaste. Light in body, with aggressive carbonation that results in a spritzy, crisp mouthfeel; it's a thirst-quenching brew, and that might very well be its best quality, because I don't have all that many other compliments to offer here.
Final Grade: 3.39, a B-. After trying Lake of Bays' Northern Glow, I (half jokingly) remarked that they should've clarified that brew as being a *session* brut IPA... but then along comes their Low Tide at a mere 2.5%, making Glow's 4.6% look downright hefty by comparison. If we extend the double/triple IPA nomenclature in the opposite direction, then logically you could think of a session IPA as a 'half' IPA. When you square 1/2 you end up with 1/4, and that's what Low Tide is - one quarter of an IPA. It's not bad for what it is, but this hop tea stuff isn't made for me, no sirree bob. I'd drink this if it were handed to me, but I have no real interest in buying more.

473 ml can served cold into a pint glass. LCBo purchase for around $3 CDN. Definitely did not realize that this was only 2.5% ABV -Given the cost was hoping for something in the 5% ABV range.
Appearance - Mostly clear, pale golden color. Lots of carbonation and nearly two fingers of loose white head with good staying power.
Smell - Not much nose, watery with some vague citrusy element.
Taste - Nothing off here, but again some vague hop water concoction. Does taste slightly bitter despite zero IBU's.
Mouthfeel - Light bodied, good carbonation, easy to drink.
Overall - For what it is... this is actually one of LOB's best executed brews. The question for me is why? I'm not certain who the target audience is, I suppose those looking for something light in place of a radler will find this appealing, but I can't see myself going back to this as it is essentially hop water with no IBU's.
