L: Transparent light apple juice yellow, minimal head and lacing
S: Slightly floral and citrusy fruity sweet white wine/grape juice with a bit of a tea smell
T: Subtle and mellow with some bright lemony citrus hoppiness and bubblegum with some muted fruity floral perfume taste
F: Light, decent carbonation, a bit crisp and pretty refreshing, not very dry
O: A bit different but a decent relaxing spring/summer flavoured beer. Certainly drinkable. It does remind of a green tea arizona.

473 mL can from the LCBO; dated Jan 17 2022 and served slightly chilled.
Pours a relatively clear golden-yellow colour, capped with nearly an inch of smooth, foamy white head that fades within a matter of minutes. A thin collar and a few wisps on the surface are the only survivors; not much in the way of lace, either. Not particularly fragrant - a little wheaty, with suggestions of tea, lemon, and some sort of tropical fruit.
Not bad - it's palatable and even distinctive in some ways, whilst the underlying pale/wheat ale is sturdy enough to come through with flavours of wheat, doughy bread and a light honeyed sweetness. Hints of green tea, nectarine, citrus and papaya develop by mid-sip, continuing through to the finish, which has a vaguely banana and/or bubble gum-like note - the marketing blurb mentions Juicy Fruit gum, which is a fair approximation of what I'm tasting. Almost seems salty, like a sports drink (e.g. Gatorade), and it's similarly refreshing. Light in body, with crisp carbonation and a prickly mouthfeel; drinkability is this one's strongest suit, and it's inoffensive enough that I would not be opposed to another glass.
Final Grade: 3.58, a passable B grade. Day Dreamin' isn't the most exciting fruity pale ale I've ever had, but I suppose it's nowhere near the worst, either - its combination of green tea and fruity flavours is appealing enough that I feel no need to knock it. It's fine: along the lines of those fruited pale wheat beers that pop up every summer, I'm sure this one would slot in just fine as a random thirst quencher. Worth a shot if you have a soft spot for light tropical fruit-themed brews; I may give it another shot later this year.

“Tropical Fruit Pale Ale infused with Tropical Fruit Flavours”
Pours gold coloured, clear with a midsize head. Not much in the smell dept. I get strong coconut notes on the taste, with lighter notes of peach and passionfruit. Unique for sure
