Bottle purchased for onsite consumption at Hill Farmstead Brewery in Greensboro Bend, VT.

This one pours a very dark black color, with a super small head, and no lacing.

This smells like chocolate-covered caramel, spicy coffee and roast, molasses, maple, bourbon, and oak.

This has such a rich and ridiculously decadent taste to it, with a masterful coffee integration. It's not entirely clear where the coffee ends and the rest of the beer begins, as you get sweet maple/molasses/brown sugar/caramel, with high quality dark chocolate, light fruitiness, and a killer spiciness both from the oak and the coffee. The bourbon character is subtle, sweet and silky.

This is medium bodied, with that killer rich silkiness in the mouthfeel from most HF stouts I've tried. It's a real treat to drink this one.

This is just too luxurious. I feel very lucky to have tried this one.

Bottle on-site at the brewery. I had an early batch of Damon and liked it, but wasn't blown away the way I was with other HF stouts like Genealogy of Morals and Birth of Tragedy. This new variant is really special. Amazing coffee in the aroma, but not overpowering in the flavor, and a perfect amount of barrel.

"Our imperial stout aged 2 years in bourbon barrels and conditioned atop coffee roasted by The Coffee Collective, Denmark and grown in Huila, Columbia by the group of farmers known as El Desarrollo." Unreleased.

This beer combines an amazing barrel aged stout with a subtle hint of exceptional coffee to create one of the most spectacular beers in the world.
