Notes:
Civil Disobedience Blend 33 has undoubtedly taken its leisurely path. In February of 2017, the oldest component of this blend began as Sankt Hans aging in wine barrels. Joining a portion of that beer was a panoply of intriguing threads: Florence that began its wine barrel aging in September of 2017; single wine barrels of Vera Mae, Nordic Saison, and Brother Soigné, all from autumn of 2017; and wine barrels of Anna and Arthur from early winter 2017. Each constituent was chosen to complement and strengthen the final vision.
Blended and bottled in June of 2018, the maturation of this blend has required nearly four years in the bottle, and we anticipate that it will continue to evolve and reach its peak in 3 to 4 years while presenting exceptionally well for the next 7 to 8 years. Like the blends numbered 30 and 31 before it, this recalls Civil Disobedience 10, yet more contemplative and complex.
