West Coast style IPA without any bitterness. It really has great balance of all three hops & they are all well represented here. This is delicious!

Hazy light orange from the can, brief half-inch of head that settles to a thin collar of foam; spotty lacing. Nose is expressive at first - moderately dank and fruity, though this dissipates pretty quick. Some allium notes as it warms. Taste follows a similar formula - up front there's a bit of diesel mixed with tropical sweetness, but this falls off quickly into a flat, slightly grainy and green finish. There's very little carbonation here (I got these cans last week at the brewery) and feels slick and oily, which to me makes some of these weak points more apparent. Overall, pretty disappointed by this one.

Lightly foggy dark and dull amber nears brown at full pour. An off-white foam head of moderate height slowly settles to leave fine blobs of lacing.
The most West Coast-like IPA I’ve ever had out of Hill, and not just because it’s mostly clear, this has some dank resins, bitter pines, evergreen cologne and citrus rinds with a touch of toasted cracker in the exhale.
Crisp, refreshing and semi-dry.

Canned on 1/31/23; consumed on 2/20/23
Pours a translucent, sunflower-gold body topped with a finger and a half creamy, slightly off-white foam; solid head retention yields a slim layer of cap, a thin, frothy collar, and a generous spattering of soapy, webbed lacing caked across the walls of the glass.
Aroma finds fresh mango pith with an apricot tinge upfront, easing to earthy lemon accompanied by notes of grapefruit, pine, and grassy resins; a soft, doughy malt undertone is revealed quietly alongside a subtle passionfruit inflection.
Taste brings orange and ruby red grapefruit to open, with lemon peel softened by mango esters over the mid-palate as a flaky, bready malt settles through the back end of the profile.
Mouthfeel shows a deft, light body and a rounded, silky fluff of moderate-full carbonation, leaving a pseudo-bittering sensation phasing to slick resins through the mid-palate as creamy interludes preclude a dryness prevailing on the finish.
Soft, attenuated nuance prevails as a potently resinous undercurrent steeps a deft malt foundation in bountifully fruity texturing; another highly quaffable IPA offering from Hill Farmstead.
