Nonconformist 06 is a delightfully unique medley of dry-hopped Farmstead® ales aged in oak barrels and conditioned on various fruits. Wine barrel-aged Anna, Florence, and Self-Reliance: Chinook were threaded and rested atop yellow raspberries, red raspberries, black raspberries, and blackberries from nearby Elmore Roots Farm. Following four months of fruit contact, the beer was dry-hopped with personally-selected Motueka™ and Simcoe® hops.

This one pours sort of a burnt orange color, with a small head, and not much lacing.
This smells like lemon, blueberry, caramelized sugar, Dole fruit juice, and white wine.
This was not that great. The fruit character is very muddled – black raspberry is a very, very bold fruit character, and I don’t really even get that. I get some vague yellow raspberry, and definitely some blueberry, but I get more of a weird fruity sweetness that’s kind of undefined. I don’t get really any character from the dry hopping, and only a touch of barrel.
This is drinkable enough, but not really a compelling pour overall.
I wanted to like this one a lot more than I did. Hill Farmstead’s fruited beers lately haven’t been that great.
