This single-decocted lager was brewed with 100% wheat from Earthkeep Farmcommon (previously known as Nordic Farm) in Charlotte, and Crystal and Nugget hops grown by Champlain Valley Hops in Starksboro, Vt. Conditioned for three months in our lagering puncheons and naturally carbonated.

On tap at Hill Farmstead Brewery in Greensboro Bend, VT.

This one pours a slightly hazy golden yellow color, with a small foamy head, and lots of lacing.

This smells like orange peel, very light banana, clove, grassy hops, and some very light oak.

This is one of the more unique entries in this loose oaked lager series that Hill Farmstead has started here. The heavy use of wheat has given this pseudo-hefeweizen vibes, with a touch of banana, a creamy almost vanilla-ish flavor, and just a touch of clove. There’s a dried lemon and orange peel citrusy character, and a nice grassy and soft but bitter hop finish.

This is extremely drinkable, with a nice smooth finish.

I hope they keep churning out these new lagers because they have been super tasty.

As a Vermonter, gotta love the concept and dedication here. Beautiful hazy straw body with a thick, merengue-like white head. Aromas, seemingly appropriately, are very similar to fresh cannabis. Flavors are dry, crisp, and clean wheat. Super drinkable with a nice tannic quality imparted by the oak puncheon. Bavaria in Vermont
