Comprised of Florence and Wheat Blanc, the composition was aged in a white wine barrel for 15 months and then atop organic strawberries from Adam’s Berry Farm in Charlotte, Vt. This beer was bottled and allowed over a year of development and rest.

This one pours a dark pink-ish/reddish color, with a small head, and a bit of lacing.
This smells primarily of juicy, ripe strawberry, with some citrusy funk.
This is pretty one-note, as Hill Farmstead beers go. Fortunately, that one-note is really delicious, as this is one of the purest and cleanest expressions of strawberry that I’ve had in a beer yet. It’s creamy, slightly sweet, slightly tart, with the feeling of sun soaked strawberries. There’s not a ton of barrel here, just a bit of citrusy funk, but the strawberries definitely dominate.
This is medium bodied, slightly creamy, and really fruit forward, with a great drinkability.
This isn’t the most complex or compelling Hill Farmstead bottle that I’ve had, but ultimately, it tastes quite good, so that’s enough for me.
