This novel variation of our Farmstead® single-hop India pale ales was brewed in March 2024 with organic lime juice and Phantasm Thiol Powder and dry-hopped with hand-selected Motueka™ hops grown by Freestyle Farm— our agricultural partner in Upper Moutere, New Zealand. Phantasm is made from Marlborough, New Zealand, Sauvignon Blanc grape skins, enhancing strong tropical fruit aromas during fermentation

Murky orange copper appearance, fluffy white head, decent retention, some lacing. Citrus, lemon, lime, grape skin. Balanced tartness and fruitiness. Lively mouthfeel.

This one pours a slightly hazy darkish orange color, with a nice fluffy head, and lots of lacing.
This smells like lime peel, kaffir lime leaf, lemon, white wine, orange, oak, and a general sort of citrusy funk.
This series always makes me smile, and this is most certainly an excellent new entry. The lime doesn’t add too much tartness or sweetness, it just folds into the natural mojito-ish flavor that Motueka hops already provide. There’s a vibrant floral and citrusy funk to this, with some drying oak and white wine flavors on the back end.
This is lighter bodied, but creamy and full for the style, with a great drinkability.
This is sneakily one of the best series of beers that Hill Farmstead does, they are just purely enjoyable, and a fun way to pick apart hop flavors in a not strictly IPA setting.
