In honor of Edward’s mother, we brew this unfiltered and naturally carbonated German-style Pilsner with our well water, malted barley, our favorite German hops, and classic German lager yeast. This edition received a subtle additional dry hopping with German Hersbrucker, and has been bottle-conditioned in 500ml bottles for natural carbonation.

This one pours a clear golden yellow color, with a small head, and lots of lacing.
This smells like spicy and peppery hops, soft crackery malt, and some light grassiness.
I haven’t had Mary in long enough to really appreciate a difference in this lightly dry hopped and bottle conditioned version, but I certainly really enjoy this all the same. It’s nicely hoppy without being overwhelming, with grassy and spicy noble hop character, and a nice herbal, bready, and crackery vibe as well.
This is very light bodied, and super drinkable, with a smooth finish. The carbonation is very soft and pillowy.
I wish I had a few more bottles of this one.
