This special anniversary edition of our blended barrel-aged Farmstead® ale collection spans more than four years and is comprised of wine barrel-aged Arthur and Florence from Spring of 2021, Arthur from late Autumn 2022, and Sankt Hans from Autumn of 2021.
Following more than two years of careful observation in the bottle, we anticipate this blend will continue its evolution along a gainful trajectory for the next 5 (or more) years; its current manifestation displays a delightful balance of integrated acidity, texture, and weight.

Funk and fauna again collide in Hill Farmstead's most disobedient yet civil beer yet. It turns out that adolescence is treating the brewery pretty good so far.
Their Fifteenth Anniversary Civil Disobedience pours with a bubbly and rusted gold appearance. As a fruity, funky and floral scent rises, notions of cider, white wine, saddle leather and general cellar-like conditions are infused with floral arrangements. Scantly sweet, the early malt flavors are dryly of communion crackers, sourdough and a pep of honeysuckle but the middle palate shows quick dryness into a pungently arid grain character with dried citrus, pear, apple and grape. A bitterness of hay wraps up the session while the after palate is quick, dry and briskly acidic.
Light in body, crisp and off-clean, the nearly lambic-like ale is a little bit wild and a little bit refined, just as we'd expect from teenagers.
