This dark Farmstead is crafted from American malted barley, German roasted malts, European hops, our farmhouse yeast, and water from our well. It was aged in a wine barrel for nearly a year, then aged atop coffee grown by Mulugeta Muntasha in Sidama, Ethiopia, sourced and roasted by Casper, Samuli, and friends at The Coffee Collective in Copenhagen

This one pours a dark brownish/blackish color, with a small head, and lots of lacing.

This smells quite chocolatey, with some roast, red wine, lemon, and vibrant coffee notes.

I liked this one a bit more than the Espresso + Cacao Nibs version, as the coffee shined a bit more, and it was oddly more chocolatey than the one that cacao nibs added. Its was rich and velvety, with a pleasantly oaky, leathery, and wine-like character to it.

This is light bodied, clean, almost crisp, and quite drinkable.

I think this is my favorite of all the different coffee Edith variants there have been.

I wanted more coffee and less Chardonnay wine barrel out of this beer.
