Pours a deep golden amber with a light fluffy white head. Leaves only a slight lace on the glass. Aromas are distinctly of sweet raspberry and just a hint of wheat and malt. Flavors are initially quite rasberry like only more on the artificial flavoring side than on the true fruit like flavoring (though the waitress swore they only used real raspberries in the brew). Following this fruity sweetness, there is a decent wheat body with a crisp malty flavor that sneaks in there as well. The finish is sweet just like the beginning of this beer, with the raspberries dominating the end. The body to this beer was quite light, with a crisp carbonation that worked well for this beer. Overall a decent offering, but just too sweet and artificial for me. I would have also liked to see just a little more wheat like flavors in this brew a little less raspberry.
