Canned 2022/10/05
Pours a large frothy 2+ finger off-white head with moderate retention, a bit of lacing, mostly clear chestnut auburn color
Nose big toasted malt, sweet candy malt, caramel, toffee, a little nutty syrupy, fair dark fruits
Taste brings a bit of sweet malt, toffee caramel notes, plenty of toasted reddish malt, sweet bread crust, a little herbal earthy hop bitterness, plenty of dark fruity esters
Mouth is med bod, med carb
Overall not bad, a bit on the sweet candy-like side

Born on: 10/05/22.
Moderate to vigorous pour yields a 3/4 inch light tan head over a translucent ruby-brown body with lacing.
Nose of dark roasted malt, molasses, pumpernickel bread and slight chocolate.
Taste of caramel, cereal, and toasted brown bread with a bitter chocolate and rather dry finish.
Feel is nice with medium carbonation.
Overall, a quite tasty offering from Salem, MA.
Go get it!!
Cheers!!!
