The beer comes in crystal clear golden yellow color.
The aroma has a bit of spice and grass along with hints of citrus peel.
The flavor follows with spice, pepper, and grass in the front with a very light malt base. It transitions to a decent amount of light citrus, piney and floral hops that give the beer some drying qualities, more towards a hop quality than a characteristic of a saison yeast.
A light and tasty beer. A fun spin on the saison style.

Growler purchased at the brewery poured into mug.
I have had this beer many times at the brewery and at home (in growlers). Very fine beer. First review.
A: At first look it looks very transparent, yellow-orange-strawish color. When held to the light, a bit of haziness shows up as expected in a saison. Decent head fades to a very nice lacing with constant carbonation coming from the depths of the glass.
S: Pine, grass, spices, citrus and a bit of fruit from the yeast.
T: Definitely dominated by grassy hop notes, spices, citrus. Also nice notes of pepper and lemon zest. Fruitiness, albeit slight, comes in towards the end.
M: Light bodied, slight bitterness, good level of carbonation.
O: Very good saison. Not your typical saison, being very hoppy and all, but absolutely worth a try if you come across this beer. I just recently found out at the brewery that this is the same recipe as Money just made with a different yeast. No wonder why I love this beer so much.

Had on tap at whole foods Columbus circle- poured into a nonic tumbler. Pours a clear golden yellow with a finger and a half of suds, good retention and a nice wash of lacing.
Smell is mild but pleasant- sweet and a little peppery. A whiff of yeast but not too much going on here.
Taste is pretty rockin- it's a nice light saison with a real peppery and citrusy hop kick. Sweet pilsner malts throughout the beer but develop more towards the end. Nice bitterness up front followed by lots of pepper and some lemon.
Mouthfeel is great- light bodied, well carbonated; this is a super refreshing summer brew packing a punch. I'd definitely get it again.
