Light and bright copper-amber, it sits inside a now full clear pint glass. Just drawn from a tap, there's no head, but that's how draft beers are served in Philadelphia. It is rather translucent. It smells barrel-aged and sour, distinctively. It tastes like that, too. But most of all, it tastes closely to apple cider vinegar. For this style, that's a very good thing. It's a little tart and much more sour. The raspberries do their part and add another layer that's mildly sweet. Although it's carbonated just right, there's no glass lacing. Still, staring at its pretty color is pleasant. It has the light and clean body of a good sour. For anyone that likes the style, this should be considered a must try.

On tap at Be.Re. Clear red color with pinkish head. Aroma has lactic tartness, raspberry jam, some barnyard/cellar notes and light briney notes. Taste is fruity with intense raspberries, light smoked malt notes, a bit of salinity, medium to light tartness. Light body, medium to low carbonation. Overall it's a very well made and balanced beer with nice yeast funk and fresh raspberry flavor.
