330ml brown glass bottle.
Clear, dark pink with a thin, baby pink head that quickly fizzes out.
Fresh raspberry and a dash of white wine vinegar.
Bright and clean and zippy.
Can see this working particularly well on a hot summer day.

This is my second from Kernel. (The first was their popular RIS.) In my review I noticed they also made saisons and I wished I could have one. Over five years later on my next visit to London, I have one of their saisons. Rarely in beerdom do dreams seem to come true this well. Mine did here. Kernel's Raspberry is a very nice table saison. I proved the point by eating a pizza with it. This Biere cut thru the grease.

Just a very pretty light ruby brew, clear. Smells were tamer. Tastes were balanced, not too sweet and not too tart. Refreshing before pizza and palate-cleansing with pizza.

I give Big Overall Hugs to Kernel because they remind me of second generation crafters, those starting in the previous century and who specialize in hoppier brews and developed barrel programs; but knew enough to make quality lagers and Belgians. Only the difference now is those American crafters are now middle-aged (pushing 40) and The Kernel is only approaching 15. In other words, The Kernel is a fast study. Cheers!

2/21/26 Went to The Kernel and stayed to drink. An excellent culinary experience. Raspberry was repeated with delight. Not too tart. Let the excellent food do its thing.
