Copenhagen 26/6 2023. 40 cl from Taphouse, Lavendelstræde, Kbh. K.
Pours slightly unclear with a small white head. Settles as thin, creamy layer of foam just covering the surface of the beer. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a mild sweet fruity odor soon overpowered by a stronger tart scent of citrus and unripe berries. Light whiff of peach. Green grapes, gooseberries and citrus.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, soft, almost flat texture.
Flavor is fairly intense with a light sweetness followed by a stronger tart sourness. Aftertaste is tart and sour. Lingers shortly. Finish is dry.
Tart and dry. As a Saison should be. Lacks a bit of spice though.

I had this beer on-tap in a tulip glass at Be Hoppy in Madrid.
Appearance: medium golden hue with a dash of haze and two fingers of creamy eggshell foam that leave a pretty lace on the glass. It really looks great.
Smell: funky, grassy, and just a little bit tart. It's very smooth and just a little sweet; this is really nice.
Taste: lightly sweet and tart up front with a good malt flavor and a slightly funky finish. Like slightly funky malt candy - it's damn good.
Mouthfeel: medium-light body with a good carbonation and a nice creaminess.
Overall: the more I drink this, the more I like it. It's super refreshing and just really tasty. Great stuff!
