i am a picky when it comes to Hefeweizen, and this one is not up to the best ones, but it also is perhaps above the average for non-German brews. I had it on tap here in Tucson so it did not have to travel very far. I would rank it a good try.

It’s fine but just not much there. Notes of banana. A decent amount of white head. Dissipated quickly. No alcohol taste. I wish there was more flavor.

On tap in a restaurant in Sedona. Nice example of the style. Smooth drinking and flavorful. My wife liked it too. I would definitely drink again.

Now known as Humphrey's Hefe, this is the closest German style beer in my fridge currently, which I will use to commemorate the 500th anniversary of the Reinheitsgebot. On to the beer:
Creamy lacing at the top of the beer which shows a light orangish color with visible bubbles and a haze. The common Hefeweizen traits are spotted in the nose. I got a little banana, a little clove, and a little acidity.
This Northern Arizona beer is easy to drink, even while it possesses a shell when compared to a Bavarian Hefeweizen. The taste is not bad; over ripened bananas, a little banana bread, nice base of sweet bread, and vague spice. There's also a whisper of sourness, which I wish didn't exist here. The beer feels very nice in the mouth. Gently bubbly in a pleasurably smooth body, Humphrey's Hefe provides a decent wheat beer experience .
