Tap at the Cascade Barrel House.

Darker foamy head, nice lacing, super dark murky brownish black color.

Nose tons of bourbon barrel I think, dark chocolate, hint of booze, cocoa dust, coffee, dark caramel fudgey malts, light booze, perfumey phenols, boozy bourbon, maple syrupy, mild dark fruits.

Taste raw lesser aged bourbon, big fresh bourbon barrel juice, into dark caramel malts, fudgey, light cocoa and dark choc, perfumey chemical phenols and fusel alcohol, raw coffee grinds, tingly booze, a raw young bourbon flavor, green like. Finish boozy, fusel phenolic booze, fudgey cocoa and caramel, bourbon, etc.

Mouth med to fuller bod, but fusel alc.

Chocolate Bourbonic 2013, on tap at Cascade Barrel House. Sample (and later an 8 oz pour).

Dark brown with a small silky head, very fine carbonation. Smell is mild sour like unripe plums, a little alcohol.

Taste is delicious. Sour, caramel, chocolate, vanilla, wood. Plum or cherry. Delicious. Very interesting.

Mouthfeel is silky. Overall, world class. A bit blown away by this beer.

On tap at brewery. Beige head. Brown color.

The bourbon comes through a lot here. Less sour than the regular version. More stout like. Vanilla and oak, some sourness. Medium bodied. High carbonation.

Interesting and I like it. Lots of chocolate.

This is simply incredible. Rich and deep and almost syrupy, but not quite. Simply sublime.
