We took a tiki inspired approach and added allspice, vanilla beans, and strawberries to the beer. The allspice was added to the boil and the Grade A Madagascar vanilla beans and Texas Hill Country strawberries were added during secondary fermentation. The strawberries were fermented to dryness by our mixed culture.
Mr. Mingo — Strawberry Edition is a fun, refreshing, highly drinkable beer for the Texas summer. We hope you enjoy it. Beneath the fun adjuncts is a base of well water, local barley and wheat, and noble hops. It's 5.4% alcohol by volume, was brewed in May, and packaged in July.

Clear amber body with a thick off-white collar. Strawberry can be tricky as a star, but right away in the nose jester king boldly does it in a pure and fresh way with light tartness. Oak, vanilla, light wheat and wild yeast support. Taste has a different approach: wheaty grains with toasty oak and bretty funk jam the palate full before the graceful strawberry, lemon zest, toasted vanilla, and flowers brightening and lighten it up. Better cold though, gets a little muddled when warmer. Feel is a bit caught in between, lacks the cleanness of a new age mixed culture saison, but doesn't commit to old world yeastiness either. Results in a muddled feeling beer before the strawberry cleans it up a bit, lightly tart. Would be ideal in springtime

Bought from Tavour. bottled June 2020. Price? Beyond my comfort zone. But, worth the experience once.
Suitably had on the last day of 70 degree weather in Chicago (but you never can tell with a warming climate.)
Mr. Mingo Looks like a summer beverage, the pink tinge with just enough lasting foam. Smells mostly of strawberry, but in the background is a complex saison malt bill. Tastes are well-blended: their base saison and its yeast makes the hibiscus, then the strawberries and some Wild bacteria all play nice in a refreshing ale. Its semi-dry sensation must be difficult to execute with all that fruit.
I'm not as big a fan of Jester King as many other "Euro Saison Heads" (that what's we call ourselves, courtesy of StonedTrippn'). Jester King's craft is in the upper echelons of Belgian-inspired breweries... but it's more the price that makes me hesitate. And yet, it somehow seems to be worth the price for even a cheapskate like me to treat myself once in a long while.

It's liquid strawberry ice cream and it is very thirst quenching.
Look: dark yellow or with a thick fluffy white head
Aroma: overwhelmingly strawberry
Flavor: The flavor is strawberry, some vanilla, maybe hibiscus.
Body/Overall: light to medium body, truly delicious

Had this at the brewery poured from draft into a plastic cup (damn virus!). Looked like a clear pinkish yellow with good head and nice sustained lacing. Fruit and herbal smell and taste. Dark berry Kool-Aid but in a good way. Strawberry and cinnamon with some basil. Enjoyed it!

drank on the brewery grounds;
near-cherry-red sunburst looking body pours with a foamy white head with low retention
smells of ripe strawberry, vanilla cream, and nods to farmhouse funk
taste follows the nose straight up; lush funky strawberry and a tinge of vanilla; lacto funk and tart throughout
high carbonation, light body, slightly dry finish
overall:
a sublimely pleasant strawberry sipper. full yet easy experience.
++edit 10 days later++
had this later from a bottle I snagged to bring home with me from the brewery and it fell nearly flat; the tart was cranked to 11 and the dryness was salt-the-earth worthy. would rate this bottle at a straight across 4.
