The Drunken Master is legend. DM is a brand new double IPA, not as boozy as TUBA and with greater balance. Unbeatable combination of Citra, Amarillo and Columbus hops gives a perfect combination of bitter and citrus to pedestal a big malt character. Looks like sunshine in a glass and tastes like a goddamn dream. Current title holder of best Double IPA in America.
Hops: Citra, Amarillo and Columbus Malt: 2-Row, C-Pils, C-60, and C-15

Can to tulip.
The appearance was a beautiful looking ruddy burnt orange color with a finger and a half's worth of white foamy head. It really took its time to dissipate and once it did some silky smooth white semi-foaminess roamed in the lace.
The aroma had some peach skin/subtle flesh, danky gripped shaved onion, bitter grassy hop notes and a little bit of hop spice. Small whiff of pineapple/clean malts (somewhat biscuity).
The flavor leaned towards the danky earthy bitter grassy/oniony side. Super light in the aftertaste - taking onion to peach flesh and some pineapple.
The mouthfeel was about medium bodied with a fair sipping quality about it. Some dryness with grassy hop spice (but faint) and finishes quick through danky/malty clean notes.
Overall, nicely done DIPA, I'd have again (or TIPA depending upon who you talk to).

Melvin again! This may be a flash in the pan for me (or maybe I'll go skiing there some day and drink a mess more). We often get remote brewers a few times and then never again. That's fine - so much to taste.
This one is a bit on the medium dark side for a DAIPA. Nice lacing. The aroma is more hoppy, less skunky. Very nice. The taste goes the same way, hoppy, but with loads of fine malts and alcohol too. The finish is cleaner than a big brew usually can, not too boozy.
Recommended. I'm not sure the price, if it were a huge premium it might not be a great value. There are many greats in this category.

Mostly clear bronze body with a white cap. Caramel malt, peach, clementine, and pineapple with classic hops in the nose. Taste has the earthy/onion hop combo melding in seamlessly with the fruit and toasty malts. Very well balanced, crisp, hoppy, and sturdy in the maltwork, classical and well made. A throw back that was enjoyed

Pale amber; candied mango, skunk, orange slices; speck of toffee, ton of tangerine, grass, resin, more citrus + slight skunk; clean, some oil, slight heat.

Throwback C hops but light malts, as trends demand. That’s some intense citrus - reminiscent of Alpine. Yeay, Melvin.
