This one pours a very dark black color, with a small head, and not much lacing.
This smells like rich, fruity, and almost caramelly vanilla, with sweet toasted coconut, rich dark chocolate, oak, nutty almond, and roast.
This series has always been absolutely dynamite, and this new entry just dials things up even further. It's obviously more adjunct heavy and sweet than some of the other CocoNaughtys, but it doesn't completely go into pastry overdrive. There's a lot of barrel here - caramel, oak, spice, bourbon, tobacco, etc - and that helps temper the huge amount of vanilla here. The coconut and almond almost feel like the "typical" amount for this beer, but the vanilla definitely sings much louder.
This is thick, chewy, and not too boozy or hot at all, with a really good drinkability.
This is definitely a special beer. Westbrook does barrel aged pastry well - there's good decadence here, but it's not completely and ridiculously sweet.

Pours a pitch black, oily consistency. A finger of mocha fizz quickly reducing to to a still black liquid with amber highlights when backlit. Aroma is vanilla, coconut, coffee, milk chocolate syrup, and dark fruit. Taste follows suit. Almost equivalent to drinking straight from the Hersheys syrup bottle, with sweet Almond Joy undertones. Liquid candy bar at its finest. Feel is syrupy, oily, mouth coating, sweet and smooth, very good beer for what it is. I loved it.

This is a Benthic killer. Also the best Westbrook stout I have ever had.
